On  Friday,  September  26th, students and staff of  W.E.  Gowling Public  School will be participating in the annual  Terry  Fox  Run to continue Terry’s Legacy.  We also welcome the involvement of the community! Please drop by to walk, jog, or run with our students, or just cheer them on as they complete their laps around the school grounds.  

We would appreciate your help in raising funds for this important cause.  All funds donated will go to cancer research. We are encouraging students to donate $2  (“Toonies for  Terry”).  Classroom teachers will be collecting donations on  Friday,  September  26th  . The event for grades 1 to 6  will begin at 9:10  a.m. on the field at the back of the school.

The event for kindergarten students will be from 1:40-2:00  p.m. If you choose to take your kindergarten child home after the run,  please notify their homeroom educator.  Each educator will have a sign-out sheet that must be completed before your child leaves school property.  For safety reasons,  no student may leave without being properly signed out.
